A one week long film camp created by myself and Joseph Quinn. The camp was founded as a way to help teach rising high school students the basics of film making! Based out of Archmere Academy high school in Wilmington Delaware, the camp ran from August 4th to August 7th 2025 and was open to all teens ages 13 to 17. The camp focuses on teaching campers how to make a film from scratch. The camp covers everything from concepting, to story boarding, screenwriting, filming, and editing. Students completely a variety of assignments, but at the end of the week the will have completely their very own 3 to 5 minute long short silent film.
2025 Summer served as a testing program for the camp. In order to better understand how we wanted the program to run, Joesph Quinn and I held a 4 day long testing program where a short class was taught on Monday. Then our 5 test students were given 2 days to film and edit their films. Here are the results!
